A. Applications for College Admissions

Admissions essays for undergraduate and graduate courses outside of India – specifically in the US and UK – entail significant essay-writing which require one to craft a personalised narrative. This is best done by creating a story around one’s goals and life decisions while answering the institute’s prompts. It is a uniquely difficult task as you need to strike the right balance between authenticity and blowing-your-own trumpet. However, the quality of your essays are what determine where you get in since application reviewers have little else to differentiate between similarly impressive profiles.

I have written, edited and rewritten such essays for several students and specifically for: Undergraduate courses: Computer science, engineering, law and psychology. Graduate courses: Business, management, policy studies, entrepreneurship courses including MBA, MiM, MSc, LLM and MPP degrees.

The institutes I have helped students with include US and UK institutes comprising both top-tier Ivy Leagues as well as state colleges – such as Columbia (Business and Law), Booth, Ross, NYU, Cambridge, Tufts, Boston University, UChicago, UMich, Babson, LSE, UCL, Imperial, King’s College, Cass, Alliance Manchester, Warwick
B. Academic Essays – Legal and Liberal Arts

As a lawyer by education and work experience, I am skilled at legal research analysis and writing. I have written and published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals and legal guides, and have also served as editors in peer-reviewed journals. My expertise lies in Indian and UK laws, both of which I am qualified in.

Due to having a solid liberal arts education and having published in disciplines which are strongly allied to law – such as political science, history, sociology and public policy – I’m able to provide similar editing services on these essays also.

My guarantees: If your work is on a subject matter on which I can claim no expertise I will let you know upfront along with a recommendation for well-suited editor. For instance, while I personally love to read popular science and maths books, I cannot edit a scientific paper on organic chemistry.
